ARRT leaders Lisa Holder and Donald K. Tamaki were among the reparations movement leaders interviewed in a new documentary on abc7news.com and the station’s various streaming apps.
The documentary, presented by Julian Glover, the Emmy® and Edward R. Murrow Award-winning ABC7 News anchor, aims to uplift the stories of families who could be repaired by reparations, explores the groundbreaking work of the reparations task force, and examines the package of legislation being proposed, and if there is the political will to pass it.
The Alliance for Reparations, Reconciliation, and Truth (ARRT) partnered with ABC7/KGO-TV on community awareness and engagement of the documentary and co-presented community screenings in Oakland and San Francisco.
